Meet Our Competition Team

Our Attitude Dance Competition Team is comprised of enthusiastic dancers of all ages, ranging from four to nineteen years old. Students who have a passion for dance and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow are selected to be part of our team through an audition process. All students are welcome to participate in the audition process, and Attitude dancers who go above and beyond in class may receive a special invitation from their teacher to audition.

Auditions

On learning day, the dancers will be taught a short 30–45 second dance that involves technical skills. We can then assess the dancer’s skills in a routine. We’ll also perform skills outside of the dance routine to help strengthen individual skills. Some of those skills are but are not limited to Single Pirouette, Double Pirouette, Toe Touch, Four Grand Battements, Grande Jeté/Leap, and any special skills.

  • Attire: Fully black top and bottoms
  • Shoes: Jazz shoes (girls), Hip Hop shoes (boys)
  • Hair: Fully pulled back in a ponytail—hairspray and clip any bangs/flyaways
  • Location: Attitude Dance Company Studios
  • Learning Day: Tuesday, July 7th, 2026
  • 4-6 years: 4:00p - 5:00p
  • 7-9 years: 5:00p - 6:30p
  • 10-13 years: 4:00p - 5:30p
  • 14 years & up: 5:30p - 7:00p
  • Boys (Ages 4-6): 4:00p - 4:30p
  • Boys (Ages 7-9): 5:00p - 5:45p
  • Boys (Ages 10-13): 4:00p - 4:45p
  • Boys (Ages 14+): 5:30p - 6:15p
  • Audition Day: Wednesday, July 8th, 2026
  • 4-6 years: (Boys & Girls) 4:00p - 4:30p
  • 7-9 years: (Boys & Girls) 4:30p - 5:30p
  • 10-13 years: (Boys & Girls) 5:30p - 7:00p
  • 14 years & up: (Boys & Girls) 7:00p - 8:00p
